I am a hardworking and enthusiastic occupational therapist with a passion for helping people with disabilities. I have experience working across a variety of health settings, supporting people with diverse disabilities and health conditions.

  • Functional Skills retraining: Working collaboratively with individuals to identify what activities they would like to improve their capacity and independence. Therapeutic interventions include therapy, assistive technology and home modifications to help individuals to regain or improve their participation in meaningful and everyday activities necessary for independent living (i.e., dressing, cooking, use of public transport).
  • Sensory Assessment: Evaluation of how people process and respond to sensory input from their environment. This information is used to make recommendations and assist people’s understanding of how their sensory processing influences their performance in daily activities.
  • Assistive Technology: Assessment and prescription of assistive technology to improve participation, independence and quality of life. This involves gaining an understanding of the individual’s needs to identify and completion of trials to determine the best assistive technology solution.

My approach to therapy is about creating a space where my clients feel safe and comfortable. I love making sessions fun and meaningful and by helping people with disabilities build confidence and independence. I work with my clients by focusing on what’s possible rather than the limitations.

When I’m not working, I love engaging in my own meaningful occupations which include running, walking on the beach, horse riding and spending time with my friends.
