Georgie Williams

I am an enthusiastic and energetic Occupational Therapist.

I enjoy building connections with clients and their families to create goals that we can collaboratively work towards.

  • Home Modifications: including assessment and recommendations for environmental modifications (minor and complex) to enable people to live safely and independently in their home. Home modifications may include changes to the structural, layout or design of a home to improve accessibility and liveability
  • Assistive Technology: including assessment and prescription of assistive technology to improve participation, independence, and quality of life
  • Cognitive Rehabilitation: including therapy aimed to improve an individual’s cognitive function (i.e., attention, memory, problem solving) following an injury or illness that affects the brain. Therapy may include restorative and/or compensatory techniques.

I understand that every client is unique, and therefore, I tailor interventions when implementing adaptive equipment to ensure that the client’s goals are at the forefront of every decision. I utilise a client-centered approach to empower individuals to regain independence in their daily activities, focusing on maximising their abilities and fostering self-reliance.

When I’m not working, I am a very active person so you will find me outdoors either at the beach or engaging in my new hobby running!
