Susan Robison

I am an experienced, dedicated, and caring Occupational Therapist.

I am dedicated to the provision of evidence-based practice and seek the best possible outcomes for my clients at all times.

  • Assistive Technology: including assessment and prescription of assistive technology to improve participation, independence, and quality of life
  • Home Modifications: including assessment and recommendations for environmental modifications (minor and complex) to enable people to live safely and independently in their home. Home modifications may include changes to the structural, layout or design of a home to improve accessibility and liveability
  • Functional Capacity Assessments: including assessment of an individualÕs ability to perform everyday tasks and activities, considering mobility, communication, social interaction, self-management, learning and self-care.
  • I have a Masters Degree in Disability Policy and Practice from Flinders University.
  • I also hold a certificate in Complex Home Modifications and have completed further training in upper limb therapy (including functional electrical stimulation) and dementia care.

I enjoy working collaboratively with people with disability and older persons in the community to enable them to maintain their independence, participate in meaningful activities and achieve their goals.

Outside of work it is all about quality time with my family and enjoying the coastal life.
